On-Site X-Rays at Our Walk-In Clinic

Our walk-in clinic offers on-site X-ray services for your convenience. X-rays are a diagnostic tool that uses low-dose electromagnetic radiation to capture images of the body’s internal structures. These images help identify issues such as fractures, dislocated joints, and ingested foreign objects. Dense tissues like bones appear white, while softer tissues show up in shades of gray.

By providing state-of-the-art digital X-ray imaging on site, we streamline the diagnostic process, eliminating the need for off-site visits. This allows us to offer prompt and efficient medical attention for non-life-threatening conditions.

What Do X-Rays Involve?

During an X-ray at Hope Primary & Urgent Care, the patient is positioned so the area of interest is between a high-energy beam and an X-ray-sensitive plate. The beam passes through the body, capturing data on the plate. This information is instantly transferred to a computer and displayed on a monitor. The entire procedure typically takes only a few minutes, providing quick and efficient diagnostic imaging for our patients at our Stearns and Williamsburg locations.
